Dr. Suellen Reed, Indiana’s longest-serving
and first female superintendent of public instruction,
announced today that she will join the executive staff of public
finance leader Ross, Sinclaire &
Associates, LLC when she concludes her current term as chief state
school officer in January 2009.
In her role as Vice President of Business Development, Reed will
draw upon Ross, Sinclaire &
Associates’ proven public financial advisory experience to
assist Indiana’s school corporations in
developing innovative capital and financing solutions.

an exciting opportunity to help our public
schools navigate the ever-changing landscape of school finance,” Reed
said. “I said when I
announced that I would not seek a fifth term as state superintendent
that I was ready to embrace new
challenges while maintaining my long-standing commitment to public
education. This position will
allow me to do just that.”
