State Superintendent of Public Instruction Dr. Suellen Reed will join the 2008 Scripps National Spelling Bee winner Sameer Mishra and the 2008 Indiana Teacher of the Year Daniel Kuznik at the Indiana State Fair in Indianapolis on Aug. 7.

Sameer, 13, was named the 2008 Scripps National Spelling Bee winner in May. He attends West Lafayette Junior/Senior High School in West Lafayette. Kuznik, 2008 Teacher of the Year, formerly a math teacher at Pike Freshman Center in Indianapolis is now Assistant Principal at Guion Creek Middle School in Indianapolis.
